Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Art

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so I thought I would do a pink ribbon nail art!

To start with this nail art, a few hours before I started painting my nails, I created the pink ribbons for my nails. To do this, I took a poly pocket (any bendable plastic thing would work like a plastic bag or something like that) and painted the ribbon with a dotting tool. I didn't have the exact colour I wanted so I mixed 2 drops of China Glaze Rich & Famous, 4 drops of Essie Ballet Slippers 4 drops of OPI Princesses Rule, and 2 drops of GOSH Magic Star. You don't want to make the ribbons too thin or they won't peel off when you're ready to use them. I let them dry for about an hour or so.

To start the nails, I applied a base coat and made a french tip with Natural Collection Nail Tip Whitener. I then went over my entire nail with Natural Collection Pink Manicure. This was a bit sheerer than I wanted so I added an extra coat of OPI Pink-a-Doodle.

After that was dry, I carefully peeled my pink ribbons from the poly pocket and used my dotting tool to place them down on the nail. If you accidentally rip one, just place it back together as best as you can on the nail.

Finish off with a top coat and you're done!
